Dr. Kelly Joedicke was raised in upstate New York and attended Buffalo State University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Joedicke graduated in the top ten percent of her class and was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She received several scholarships for high academic achievement, was acknowledged for excellence in Contact Lens Fitting, and was awarded clinical honors in both Primary Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation. Prior to attending Buffalo State University, she received her A.A.S. in Ophthalmic Dispensing, which gives Dr. Joedicke extensive knowledge base of fitting and adjusting lenses, frames and contact lenses.
Dr. Joedicke has been practicing optometry in the Northern Virginia area since 1998. She joined out practice in 2005 and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association and the Northern Virginia Optometric Society. She is a past-president of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society.
Dr. Joedicke is a highly experienced doctor in both primary eyecare as well as contact lens fitting and treating medical eye problems. She lives in South Riding with her husband Kevin and daughter Brenna and practices in our Chantilly office.
